Whenever we start our trips in Athens, visiting Acropolis is a must. Both the ancient ruins, and the cultural museum.
We usually spend a night in a hotel at the foot of Acropolis before we go sailing. The ruins are beautifully lit at night, and we usually have a grand view to them from our hotel room veranda.
So, our cultural alibi taken care of already on the first day!
