Exploring the island's interior
A sailing vacation is not about hurrying from
one island to another, always seeing everything from the boat. Some will visit
a new island every day, others maybe only three in two weeks. But most will find
it interesting to get to know the interior of some of the islands as well. By
bus, by car, or - as I prefer - on a motorcycle.
These motorcycles and mopeds can be rented
inexpensively. It will make traveling on those dirt roads and donkey tracks
easy, and you'll soon find that private beach you'll have all to yourself...
