From Hydras narrow and cosy streets

The island of Hydra is known for its inspiration to artists - painters, writers and more. It lies close to the mainland, and is greener and more vegetated than the islands further out in the Aegean sea.

Hydra has a population of a couple of thousand inhibitants and two cars. One is a garbage truck, the other some curious three-wheeler. Together, they share about one kilometer of road. The rest of the island is only reacheable travelling on the many donkey tracks.

Words cannot describe this place. Not with my vocabulary, anyway... It's Paradise on Earth. And right in it, on this picture, is Punky and I.
